I found this image at a blog called Robobop that unfortunately no longer seems to be active. It was from a post about Moleskine drawings during a trip to New York City. I hope the blog comes back someday, I’d love to see more!
Some nice-looking pages here: Another Moleskine Comes to an End. See more posts about Moleskines at Serenastyle Blog, including this lovely overstuffed notebook: I love how the pasted-in items have made it so chunky, yet the edges are still so tidy!
One of my favorite things is finding little-seen images from the notebooks of artists, writers and scientists. This one is a gem, as Edward Hopper is one of my favorite painters, yet I don’t recall ever having looked at any of the sketches for his works. I love this image, which is the cover of a book of wonderful notebook/Moleskine sketches called See You Around: The book is $19.95 at Blurb.com: See You Around (small) | Book Preview.

The notebook itself is a pretty cool concept, with space to tuck pencils in the spine and that awesome … Continue reading The Invention Notebook!→
So often, I’ll see a really cool image pop up in the Moleskine Flickr pool, and it will turn out to be by Kathrin Jebsen-Marwedel. See her photostream here. She fills each page of a daily Moleskine planner with the most wonderful sketches, and the result is an extraordinary visual journal.
