When I was a kid, I once made a notebook covered in denim, and I was fond of it for a while. Of course I still have it:
The paper inside was from the letter-size pads my dad always used, brought home from where he worked as an engineer. I stapled together two signatures, and then glued them into the denim cover.
So I’m not opposed to denim notebooks in general… but I’m sorry– I hate the ones from Moleskine! If they had just made some plain notebooks with denim covers, that would be one thing, but what were they thinking with the stupid words on the cover?? They came out in July but I’ve been seeing a lot of advertising for them lately– maybe they’re not selling well…

They’re like the paper inside, only so so. Who on Earth thought the naff mottoes were a good idea.
Yes I could really do without any sort of text on the covers as well.
