Here’s a few notebooks spotted in assorted advertisements and articles:
From the New York Times obituary of theater critic Stanley Kauffman:
From the Wall Street Journal magazine, designer Marc Newson’s sketchbooks, among other favorite things.
Also from the Wall Street Journal magazine, a Moleskine seems to be a favorite tool of Nike executive Mark Parker:
From a New Yorker article by Ken Auletta, about the editor of the Guardian, Alan Rusbridger:
From the “Work Diary” of retail consultant Stefani Greenfield, in Bazaar:
This one’s from the New York Times magazine, a notebook in a Tumi ad:
I tore out that same Mark Parker article from a magazine the other day. I like the glass cover on his work table, and then noticed the grid Moleskine notebook too (which made me want one again).
Nice findings. I’m always curious about who keeps a journal and what they do with it. It’s cool to see a glimpse into people’s lives. The Nike guy journal is pretty, but $120 is pretty expensive for a journal to me. Good to see others still using Moleskines out there too.
