Welcome to “Reader Week” at Notebook Stories. I get lots of emails with questions and tips about notebooks, but unfortunately, I don’t tend to get around to posting them very quickly! So this week, I’m trying to catch up– all my posts this week are from readers’ submissions. I love getting tips and questions and Notebook Addict of the Week nominations, so don’t be shy– feel free to shoot me an email at nifty [at] notebookstories [dot] com. And if you’ve sent me something in the last couple of months but don’t see it posted this week, don’t worry, I promise I’ll get to it someday! Thank you all for being such great notebook fans and supporters of this blog. So with that, let’s get to this week’s first reader submission:
Gaby is actually the only reader who has submitted a mostly-Moleskine photo lately, so I’m using her to keep up my tradition of having a “Moleskine Monday,” but she really deserves to be a Notebook Addict of the Week too. She keeps LOTS of notebooks and sketchbooks, and decorates all the covers, except for a couple of the special Van Gogh silk-covered Moleskines in the bottom right corner– I’d be reluctant to glue anything on that silk too, but I bet Gaby could find a way to do them justice! (I see an orange notebook in the row above that may also be one of the silk covers, so maybe she just hasn’t gotten to those other ones yet.) This is a great collection– they look amazing all laid out together!
Thank you Gaby!
Wow! What a collection! Love the covers!
Fantastic collection! I never thought of decorating my Moleskines to be honest. I am actually trying to get my initials engraved on the front. Do you have an ideas on I can do this?
Oh! thank you! this is a surprise – I completely forgot about that email and picture I sent, but yeah I have a lot of sketchbooks, and the purple and red ones and van gogh’s and they’re filled, I don’t think I’ll put something on the cover…. if you want to see more here are my things: http://missgaby.deviantart.com/
Thanks :)
