The blogger at Dig Under Rocks recently attended the Renegade Craft Fair in Los Angeles. She found a few vendors of interesting paper products including these notebooks:
Next I came upon a shop, Tyler Bender Book Co., with a really unique and interesting idea.. Vintage and recycled notebooks. Covers were made from old t-shirts, cereal boxes, old book covers, wallpaper, anything interesting in design or texture.. inside pages were old blank spiral notebook pages neatly bound. All books are hand bound by artist Tyler Bender based here in LA. He also has a booth at the Silver Lake Craft and Vintage Fair on Saturdays.
Now I want to go to L.A. and check these out! Read more at Dig Under Rocks.
I love the idea of recycled notebooks using old t-shirts and cereal boxes for covers. It definitely gives a cool twist to otherwise bland and boring notebooks.
It’s a similar idea to http://www.re-cover.de . It’s a German service using T-shirts to create notebook covers.
