The Magma sketchbooks are an interesting combination of blank sketchbook and reference guide. They are available in various formats for different creative disciplines such as fashion and architecture, each containing pages with handy information relating to that field.

I bought three of these. I liked the concept, the pages in their layout, and the information pages in the back. Some things about the quality I didn’t like. The round elastic makes the books hard to stack, and the the binding and cover were a little off. The paper stock is ok, and the corners are cut clean, but I didn’t think the construction was the best. Otherwise a fun idea.
